Thiruvananthapuram: From now on the Police Sabha will resolve the complaints of police officers. It is held to solve the service related and personal issues of the officers. District police chiefs will conduct the police sabha at various centers. State police chief Anil Kant issued the necessary instructions to the district police chiefs.
The sabha will discuss complaints regarding service related matters, salary and pension of police officers. Apart from these, personal complaints will also be considered by the district police chiefs in the sabha and the chiefs will take necessary action to resolve the complaints received within the time limit.
Sub-Divisional Police Officers should visit police stations every week as part to solve the complaints of police officers. Range DIGs and Zonal IGs will coordinate these activities.
In recent times, Kerala Police has been receiving harsh criticism. In the meantime, the top officials have come together with the police sabha to resolve the complaints of the officers. Recently, the police officers revealed that they are experiencing severe mental stress as part of their work strain. The officers are hopeful that such problems will be solved through the police sabha.
