Thiruvananthapuram: CPM leadership has come out with their response on the stand taken by the Governor Arif Mohammed Khan against Finance Minister K N Balagopal. CPM State Secretary M V Govindan told that Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has already given reply to the Governor.
What the Governor said in the letter given to the CM on Tuesday was that the minister has ceased to enjoy the Governor’s pleasure.
“A Minister who deliberately violates the oath and undermines the unity and integrity of India cannot continue to enjoy my pleasure,” the Governor said in his letter.
The pleasure mentioned in the constitution is not the personal pleasure of the Governor. In fact the Governor’s pleasure is with the RSS, said M V Govindan.
The decisions taken by the Governor these days are based on vested interests. Governor tries to make the State favourable for RSS and BJP. Governor is making grave fault, added CPM State Secretary.
