Bengaluru: The National Investigation Agency has revealed that the criminals committed the murder of Bajrang Dal worker Harsha with a well planned plot. Hatred towards Harsha led to the murder. The weapons used for the crime was bought from Shivamogga. NIA officers informed that photo of Osama Bin Laden was saved in the criminals’ mobile phones. NIA has submitted a 750-page charge sheet in the court.
Karnataka Government handed over the Harsha murder case to NIA in March. BJP as well as the members of Harsha’s family had asked to hand over the case to NIA. Harsha was murdered after he revealed his stand on the hijab issue.
The incident took place on 20 February near Kamath petrol pump in Shivamogga. Harsha was hacked to death by a gang of local Muslim youth. Ten suspects were arrested in connection with he murder.
The accused conspired to create communal disharmony and violence.
