Kochi: Gun fire at ‘Oji’s Kanthari’ bar in Kundanoor, Kochi. The attack was carried out by a group of two who were drunk. It is reported that it was fired at the wall of the hotel. The reason for the attack is unclear. No one was injured in the attack.
The incident took place around 2 pm last day. They fired with a hand gun. According to the police, Rogen, a native of Kollam, is the main accused behind the incident. Harold, his friend, a lawyer, was also there with him. Their arrest will be recorded today. Soon after the shooting, they left the hotel. It is reported that they had come to the bar to celebrate a win in connection with a case.
Though the police found the bullet marks, they were unable to locate the bullet. The police are checking the CCTV footage of the hotel. The hotel authorities responded that the culprits are not the regular visitors of the hotel. They also clarified that there were no verbal arguments inside the bar. The investigation into the incident is in progress.
