New Delhi: A two-day Chintan Shivir will begin today in which all the Home Ministers of the country will participate. The Chintan Shivir will be held in Surajkund, Haryana. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, who is in charge of the Home Department, will represent Kerala in the meeting which will be presided over by Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
State home secretaries and DGPs will also participate. The main agenda is preparing action programs for Vision 2027 and the five pledges announced by the Prime Minister. Cyber crimes, drug trafficking and reform in the police force may also be discussed in the meeting.
It is reported that the Governor’s interventions in Kerala are likely to be raised by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan in the meeting. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the Chintan Shivir tomorrow.
