Kozhikkode: Another tragedy of medical negligence has been reported from the State of Kerala. Sindhu, 42 year old woman died at Kozhikkode Medical College Hospital today. The relatives of the deceased allege that wrong injection was given to her and she started showing discomfort after taking that injection. She was admitted in the hospital last evening due to fever.
Raghu, Sindhu’s husband told Janam T V that she was given a wrong shot in the morning. Sindhu breathed her last soon after taking the injection. Raghu added that her medical report was otherwise normal.
Police have started probe on the issue. Meanwhile, the doctor has explained that Sindhu was given an injection last day and the same injection was taken today too. However, the doctor told the cause of the death is not clear.
