Solar case: Petition demanding CBI investigation will be considered after 2 weeks

Thiruvananthapuram: The petition to take up the solar case by the CBI has been adjourned to consider after two weeks. The investigation is being held against 14 people and both the state government and the CBI demanded more time.

The CBI has informed that one among the cases has been ended and submitted the report due to unavailability of appropriate evidences.

Saritha’s complaint was filed against Ramesh Chennithala, Chandy Oommen, Jose K Mani, ADGP Padmakumar and MR Ajith Kumar. The petition was considered by a bench under Justice Kausar Edappagath.

It was in October 2018, the case was filed over the statement of the solar case culprit against Oommen Chandy, the then CM of Kerala, KC Venugopal, AICC General Secretary, KC Venugopal and  Hibi Eden MLA. Following this, a sexual assault case has been filed against the former ministers AP Anilkumar, Adoor Prakash, Sahadulla, Anil Kumar’s private secretary. The case had been taken after several days of interrogation.
