New Delhi: Indira Gandhi International Airport has been selected as one of the busiest airports in the world. In October, 3.3 million passengers passed through the airport. According to a report by OAG, the renowned aviation analytical firm, the airport has been improving its ranking since 2019.
In October, the Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson was the busiest airport through which 4.7 million passengers passed. The Atlanta airport gained a three percent increase over the last month.
Dubai and Tokyo Airports are in the third and fourth positions respectively. The Istanbul airport, which was in the fourth position, has gone to the eighth position with a decrease of 6 percent of passengers.
Delhi has now got the 10th position which was earlier in the 14th position. Dubai maintained the position of the airport in which the most number of passengers have landed.
