Ernakulam: After the interrogation of NIA, crucial information are out regarding the murder of Sreenivas, the RSS leader from Palakkad region. NIA says that C A Rouf is involved in the murder. The details are given by Rouf during the interrogation of NIA.
Rouf is involved in the conspiracy regarding the murder of Sreenivas. Yahiya Thangal, the PFI leader and Rauf will be added in the list of the accused. Apart from this, the NIA will also enquire their role in other political murders. Rauf, who has been remanded, is now in the Kakkanad jail.
He is on remand till19th next month. His custody plea will be considered on Monday. The NIA has found that Rouf has connection with the foreign terrorist organisations. Six days custody has been demanded to interrogate in the background of this.
Rouf was on the run soon after the widespread checking and ban that took place against PFI. The NIA got information that Rauf had reached his house at Pattambi in Palakkad. He was trapped by the police today morning. It is found that he took initiative to conduct terrorist attack even after hiding.
