Ahmadabad: PM took a decisive step in Atma Nirbhar Bharat by laying foundation stone to C 295 aircraft manufacturing plant in Gujarat. The construction of the plant is a remarkable step towards the country’s goal of Aatma Nirbhar Bharat (self-reliant India).
The PM took initiative for the construction of the plant in a programme that was held in Vadodara. The construction work is jointly coordinated by Tata Advanced Systems Ltd and Spain-based Airbus Defence and Space. The project will cost Rs 21,935 crore and it is the nation’s first private sector aircraft manufacturing plant.
The PM reached Gujarat to inaugurate various projects. He was received at the airport by the Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel, Governor Acharya Devvrat and the BJP state president CR Patil.
On the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel, on Monday, the PM will visit Kevadia . He will also dedicate both the Maze Garden and Miyawaki Forest in Ekta Nagar to the nation.
