Madhu murder case; plea filed against 8 witnesses who turned hostile after recording 164; prosecution demands stringent action

Palakkad: The prosecution has today approached the Mannarkkad trial court asking for strict action against the witnesses those turned hostile.

19 among 122 witnesses had given secret statement before the magistrate. The prosecution filed plea to take action against those eight witnesses who turned hostile even after giving 164. The plea is against witnesses including Unni, Anandan, Jolly and Mehrunnisa.

The eight witnesses turned hostile while under trial. It is learnt that the court will consider prosecution’s plea on the next posting day of the case. The trial is in the last phase.
