Thiruvananthapuram: DYFI openly criticised the recent order of increasing the pension age limit of employees working in public undertaking institutions to 60. The DYFI state secretariat clarified that they cannot accept the decision of the Finance Ministry.
The new order will be applicable for all 122 public undertaking institutions, except KSEB, KSRTC and Water Authority. In the statement, DYFI clarified that this will have a negative influence on all job seekers in the nation.
The DYFI state secretary Sanoj said that the unemployment rate of the state is higher than that of the national average. There is no objection in unifying the service and salary relaxations, he added.
The demand of DYFI is to cancel the order issued by the finance department. They said that the government has no discrimination with the youngsters.
