Palakkad: One more Popular Front leader has been arrested in the case of the murder of Palakkad RSS activist Srinivasan. Naushad, a native of Palakkad Chadanamkurissi, was arrested. He is the 36th accused in the case. It is reported that he directly participated in the conspiracy of the murder.
The state committee member of SDPI, who was involved in the case, was arrested last week. The investigation team arrested Ameer Ali (36). He is also the former district president of SDPI. The investigation team is interrogating the arrested accused.
At the same time, evidence has been found that C A Rauf, the state secretary of the banned terrorist organization Popular Front, was involved in the murder. Rauf was involved in the conspiracy to kill Srinivasan. Rauf, who was absconding after the banning of Popular Front was taken into custody and questioned by the NIA. NIA is conducting further investigation in this regard.
On April 16, Srinivasan was hacked to death by Popular Front activists. Six people on two bikes entered the shop and hacked Srinivasan to death. About 10 deep wounds were found on the body.
