Thrissur: Tuition teacher got arrested for molesting a 16 year old minor boy. She is a 37 year old woman who is a Mannuthi native. She used to molest the boy after giving him alcohol.
Recently, the child’s family arranged counselling after noticing some behavioural changes. And this unveiled the crime. His parents immediately informed this to the Child Welfare committee. The teacher got arrested on the basis of the instructions received by the Child Welfare Committee.
For two years, the teacher has been separated from her husband. She started taking tuition classes since the time of the Covid Pandemic. She also had worked as a trainer in the Fitness Centre nearby.
She has admitted the crime during the time of the interrogation. She is being questioned for more details. She has been remanded after presenting before the court following the medical check up. The case was filed under POCSO. The police are also investigating whether more students were subjected to molestation.
