Malappuram: NIA raid took place again at different PFI centres in Malappuram. NIA informed that the raid took place in connection with the case that was registered in Delhi.
The NIA team had reached the district by night. The inspection took place at the office and residence of Aslam, the former divisional secretary. Digital evidence has also been recovered from these places.
The inspection was held at the premises of Aslam’s house and office. It was conducted to collect evidence of the hawala transactions. He was a Popular Front leader in Marancherry. Currently, he is on the run. Following the ban of the PFI, there occurred several raids in Malappuram.
