Palakkad: The National Investigation Agency may enquire the brutal murder of RSS former physical trainer A Sreenivasan. Popular Front State Secretary C A Rauf and SDPI State Committee member Yahia Koya Thangal will be added in the list of the accused as the two criminals had actively involved in conspiring the plot. Sreenivasan was hacked to death just as terrorist operation, said NIA.
The arrest of Yahia Koya Thangal will be recorded today. Thirty five criminals have been arrested so far in connection with the case. At present, Yahia Koya Thanagal is imprisoned in the high security jail in Viyyur. The investigation team will reach Viyyur to take Yahia into custody.
The investigating DySP had received a death threat recently from PFI . The international phone call threatened the officer and told to “make your coffin ready”. Probe over the death threat call is underway.
