Srinagar: The security force arrested Jaish-e-Mohammad terrorists, Muhammad Yaseen, Farhan Farooq and Farooq Ahammad from Narwal region. The force also seized weapons and explosives from them.
Truck driver Muhammad Yaseen said that he had reached Jammu to take weapons as per the instructions of Shahbas, the mediator of Jaish-e-Mohammad, Pakistan. He also said that he handed over the weapons. Police found that Yaseen was included in the UAPA case, Avanthipora and admitted that weapons and explosives were hidden in the tanker. During the subsequent search, three AK 56 guns, one pistol, nine magazines, 191 rounds of ammunition and six grenades were recovered from the tanker.
The terrorists were captured from a police patrolling held at Narwhal region. The probing team said that they will check whether the terrorists are involved in any other terrorist cases.
