Guwahati: Assam Government has given strict instructions to the private Madrassas. They have announced to submit all details regarding the Madrassas and said to upload it from 1st December. There are strict instructions to add all details about the number of students and the personal information about the teachers. The instructions were given after conducting discussions with different Madrassa organisations.
Police verification is now made necessary for all the teachers. The authority said that no one is permitted to teach terrorism in disguise of religion and the Madrassa authority should ensure this.
The Police said that the Madrassas must be built at least a distance of 3 kms. Each Madrassa must have a strength of minimum 100 students. It is also warned that strict actions will be taken if there occurred any malpractices in the information given to the Directorate of education. Assam DGP Bhaskar Mahindra had earlier announced to upload the rules and syllabus in the portal.
