Cattle smugglers entered the border; attack on security force; two smugglers killed during encounter

Kolkata: The security forces have killed two Bangladeshi nationals who were trying to smuggle cows along the border. They were killed during the encounter.

The security forces informed that the smugglers were warned several times but they denied the warning and went on. Two people entered India despite frequent alert from the force, and though they were asked to return to Bangladesh, they started attacking the force.

BSF told that they killed the cattle smugglers for self defense as the latter pelted stones and attacked with sharp edged weapons.
