Idukki: Police arrested stepfather for raping a minor girl and making her pregnant in Adimali. The accused was arrested from Thrissur and taken to Adimali police station for further action.
Police arrested him last night while he was trying to escape from Thrissur. He will be presented to the court after completing the medical check-up.
The victim is at the age of 17 and studying in 10th standard. Due to severe stomach pain she consulted a doctor and later confirmed that the girl is pregnant. After being interrogated, the child revealed that her stepfather was constantly torturing her.
