Malappuram: Woman who was injured in an acid attack by her husband died while undergoing treatment at Kozhikode Medical College. Shahana Sherin , a native of Ambalakkalli, Chembrasherry has been died in the acid attack by her husband Shanawaz, a native of Vandoor region.
The attack took place last Saturday. Shahana and Shanawaz were living separately for a year due to some family issues. He rushed into the house on Saturday and poured acid over Shahana’s head.
Shahana was seriously injured in the attack and was undergoing treatment at Kozhikode Medical College for a week. Shanawaz was also injured and is under treatment at Medical college.
