Ernakulam: The High Court has directed the Devaswom Boards to ensure necessary facilities to arrange camps for Sabarimala pilgrims. The temple advisory committees should provide necessary comments to the Devaswom Boards officials. The instructions also say that the Assistant commissioner should check the facilities. The High Court Devaswom bench has issued instructions on this.
It must be informed by the Court in case of any failure through the Special Commissioner. Apart from this, the Deputy Administrator has also received instructions to check the facilities arranged in Guruvayoor temple for the Sabarimala pilgrims.
The Travancore Devaswom Board informed the High Court that they will arrange 59 camps for Sabarimala pilgrims under Cochin and Travancore devaswom boards. The authority informed that special facilities will be made in Guruvayoor temple for the devotees and the Travancore Devaswom Board also stated that food will also be served in the camps.
