Noida: The authority of Noida has come with updated instructions to the owners of pet dogs. Registration has been made mandatory for all pet dogs. Failure of this will levy a fine of Rs 2000. And if the dog bites someone, the owner must have to pay a fine of Rs 10,000, clarifies the CEO of the Noida Authority.
The crucial decisions on pet dogs were taken in the Noida Board meeting that was held on the last day. The rules have been made strict on the basis of Animal Welfare Board of India. The registration for pet dogs and cats will be made mandatory and any failure will be subjected to heavy fines.
Dog Shelter will be made for aggressive dogs. Specific areas will be marked outside the home to feed the dogs. The owner will be responsible for all troubles caused by the pet dogs in public places and also if the dog bites someone.
