Thiruvananthapuram: BJP workers intensified their protest demanding the resignation of Thiruvananthapuram Corporation Mayor Arya Rajendran. The BJP councillors protested by climbing on top of the municipality building. The BJP leaders raised ‘Go back’ slogans against the mayor who reached the municipality under police security. The BJP councillors have clarified that they will not allow the mayor to enter the municipality without resigning.
Will move forward with strong protest based on people’s demand, added BJP councillor M R Gopan. BJP district president V V Rajesh accused that an attempt is being made to sabotage the investigation. Meanwhile, in the morning, a conflict broke out in the march held by various organizations to the municipal council demanding the mayor’s resignation.
