Damoh: The administration of the alleged child care centre in Madhya Pradesh has denied the allegations of forceful conversion. National child right commission chairman Priyank Kanoongo had accused that the authority of the child care centre forcefully converted both Hindu and Muslim children to Christianity.

Triza, principal of the child care centre said to media that the authority has never indulged in the religious interests of children and never forced to read Bible.

” The allegation raised by Priyank is false. This centre neither converted children nor forced them to read Bible. I am a Christian. But I have never asked anyone to be like me. Muslim kids do their namas and Hindu children chant prayers of their own choice. The allegations are hence false”, explained Triza.

Priyank Kanoongo had recently visited the child care centre and the houses of the kids staying in the centre and after this visit, he revealed that forceful conversion to Christianity is being done in the cente. Priyank also filed a complaint in the Damoh police station.

Upon the complaint received, case has been registered and enquiry has started. The officers have informed that some evidences of forceful conversion has been collected.
