Thiruvananthapuram: Drop in gold prices in the state within hours of rising. Gold prices hiked in the state in the morning and fell in the afternoon. In the morning, the rate for one sovereign of gold had increased by Rs 120. But within hours the price of gold fell.
Within an hour of the price increase, the rate for one sovereign of gold fell by Rs 280. By noon, there was a fall of Rs 320. Rate of gold fell by Rs 600 within hours in the state. In the morning, the rate of one sovereign of gold was Rs 38,840. Currently the gold price in the state is Rs 38,240.
