New Delhi: Governor Arif Mohammad Khan ridiculed Raj Bhavan blockade. A total of 25,000 people participated in the march. The governor said that the remaining people of Kerala are with him. The Governor was responding to the media in Delhi.
There are three and a half crore people in Kerala. 25,000 people participated in the Raj Bhavan march called by the government. Universities should continue functioning as per UGC rules. But that is not what is happening in Kerala now, the Governor told the media.
He added that everyone has the right to protest and will resign if it is proved that he has created a constitutional crisis. Everyone should respect court orders. That is our responsibility. This is not a personal battle. “I have no personal grudge against anyone”, said the governor. The governor also stated that he will not allow illegal interference in the university affairs.
