Palakkad: Another criminal, belong to the now banned terror group, the Popular Front of India, was arrested today in connection with the murder of RSS former physical trainer Sreenivasan. Noushad, native of Vilayur, Pattambi is in the custody of the investigation team. Noushad was the divisional secretary of PFI Koppam unit. He has been in the list of the accused for being the accomplice to help other accused to hide safely.
Meanwhile, Police got PFI former state council member Yahya Thangal in custody last day. Yahya is the 45th accused in the murder case. Yahya was taken into custody to conduct detailed investigation on his role in Sreenivasan’s killing.
PFI former state secretary Rauf, another accused in the brutal murder, was brought to several locations in Palakkad last week for verification.
