Sannidhanam: The plot of the State Government to violate the rituals again in Sabarimala made a stir among devotees as soon as the report came through Janam T V. The news about the Government’s direction given to the police as all have the right to enter Sabarimala, was first aired on Janam T V. The direction given to the police by the State Home department was that as the Supreme Court verdict exists, all can enter the temple. It was mentioned in the hand books distributed to the cops on duty at Sannidhanam.

The controversial matter of woman entry was printed as the first point in the hand book. The other details as how to behave to devotees, peculiarities of duty points, pooja timing etc are also explained in the hand book. It was crystal clear that the State Government was ready to make women entry and thus to violate the centuries old rituals and hurt the emotions of Hindus by giving such direction to the police on duty at Sabarimala.

However, as the controversial mentioning in the hand book came out, the Government has withdrawn the matter. Devaswom Minister uttered some lame excuses as how the fault was printed in the hand book will be checked. The Government and the Devaswom Board do not have any bad intention, added Minister K Radhakrishnan. He also told that the entry to the devotees will be the same as it was before.

ADGP has informed that the error will be checked in detail and new hand books will be released soon omitting the controversial direction.
