Thiruvananthapuram: More details of the controversial letter written by CPM Thiruvananthapuram District Secretary Anavoor Nagappan is revealed. The letter was made in favour of the former area secretary’s son. The letter aimed to provide jobs for party workers at District Mercantile Co operative Bank, Thycaud. J S Kiran, who got appointed in the co operative bank is the son of former area secretary of Kattakkada. Kiran got appointed as the junior clerk.
The controversial letter by Anavoor Nagappan, seeking appointment of three people in the co operative society was out last day. Anavoor had written the letter using the letter pad of CPM district committee, to Babujan, director board member of co operative society and also, the assigned person to implement party decisions. The letter begins with addressing ‘comrade’.
The letter asked to appoint V S Manju and J S Kiran as junior clerks and R S Shibin as driver. These three are still working in the firm.
