Kozhikode: Sunu, the accused policemen in Thrikkakkara gang rape case has been returned to his official duty today. The Coastal CIPR Sunu is the third accused in the Thrikkakkara gang rape case. He has taken charge from the Coatal Station in Beppur. Police released Sunu as there was no enough evidence against him.
Meanwhile, Sunu said that he is innocent and it is a cooked up story. He also said that suicide is the only way out from this. Sunu had interrogated by the police for four days, headed by the Assistant Police Commissioner, Thrikkakkara.
There were ten culprits including CI Sunu. The woman said that the accused had raped her at the residence in both Thrikkakkara and Kadavanthra. But the investigation team found that there was a contradiction in the woman’s statements and released Sunu.
