Srinagar: Farooq Abdullah, the former Chief Minister of Jammu & Kashmir said that no religion is bad and Lord Rama is not just for Hindus but for everyone. The President of the National Conference said this while addressing the public rally organised in Akhnoor district of Kashmir in view of the upcoming elections.
He said that there are several efforts being made to divide people on the basis of religion and it is necessary to take extra care on it. He commented that in order to stay stronger we should stand together.
During the time of the election, some people come and say that the Hindus are in danger. Do you think that the Hindus those who are occupying the 70 – 80 percent of the population will be in danger? asked Farrukh Abdullah. It is not religion but the humans who are creating all the problems.
The National Conference was never interested to stand in favour of Pakistan. The party has always worked for India, says Farrukh Abdullah. He also said that though Jinnah once came to visit his father they haven’t work together.
He asked people to support the National Conference Party and assured that the party and through that the Jammu & Kashmir will be like before without dividing Kashmir and Ladakh.
