Thrissur: A private bus caught fire while it was plying between Kunnamkulam and Thrissur with passengers. The incident took place around 5 pm today.
Smoke began to come out from the bus named ‘Jaiguru’ while reaching near Kechery centre. Soon, the passengers were evacuated safely. And then flames started spreading in the vehicle. The fire force as well as local people of Kechery worked together to douse the blaze.
Traffic was disrupted for about 30 minutes after the incident.
