Mumbai: Two African women were taken into custody with cocaine worth 20 crore from Mumbai International Airport . The women, reached at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport with 2.8 kilograms of cocaine hidden in shoes. They were arrested by the Narcotic Control Bureau.
NCB, upon secret information about the smuggling conducted search. The women identified as Miranda and Musa, came from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia to Mumbai on Sunday with 8 packets of drugs, hidden in two pairs of shoes and in two purses.
The detained women had informed that the cocaine was to hand over an agent who was supposed to reach at a hotel in Andheri.
