Thiruvananthapuram: Janam T V has won the prize in Kesari Super league Football Tournament, organised by Kerala Union of Working Journalists district committee.
Minister G R Anil gave away the prize for the winning team at the function held at Chandrasekharan Nair Stadium.
The first match was with Kairali T V and in the second, the opponent was Malayala Manorama. In the semi final, Janam T V defeated Kerala Koumudi for two against three goals.
In the final, Janam T V defeated Madhyamam for three goals and kissed the trophy.
In the woman shoot out, Janam T V women team has shown its strength and won the third prize.
Indian former football players and film-serial stars contested in the celebrity match as part of the event.
