New Delhi: The Supreme Court is ready to speed up the proceedings. Chief Justice D Y Chandrachud announced that the Top Court will have special benches to deal with cases related to criminal appeals, land acquisition, Vehicle accidents, and tax issues.
Justice Sooryakanth will be the part of the bench which deals with land acquisition, informed Chief Justice. He also said the details of other judges who guide other benches will be released later.
Last day, the Chief Justice had formed a special bench specially for tax cases. The Supreme Court said that the Tax Bench will hear cases on Wednesday and Friday to deal with cases related to direct and indirect sales tax. D Y Chandrachud stated that individual freedom will be given first priority and many changes will be made.
