Kochi: The High Court has raised severe criticism against the company that released advertisement, mentioning helicopter service to Sabarimala, without the permission of the concerned authorities. The court said that the issue cannot be considered as trivial and also asked not to use the name Sabarimala. The Centre and the Devaswom Board requested for some more time to submit reply affidavit. The case has been adjourned to next Tuesday.
The company had offered helicopter service from Kochi to Nilakkal and dolly service from Nilakkal to Pamba and Sannidhanam. The court registered suo motu case in connection with the media report regarding copter service.
The company, based in Kakkanad, faced harsh criticism from the court for offering VIP darshan facility. The central government too is taking the issue seriously.
