Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala is preparing to borrow 2000 crores again after the financial crisis in the state has worsened. With this the borrowing of this year will be 15,436 crores. The borrowing is to pay the salary and pension for next month.
The central government has sanctioned a total borrowing of Rs 17,936 crore till December. 2000 crore was borrowed earlier this month. Now only 2500 crores is left. It is reported that if the central government doesn’t allow more loans after December the govt will definitely face a financial crisis. Many projects have been postponed due to the lack of money. It is reported that the government is not able to move forward without taking loans.
