Mangalore: Karnataka Police has collected crucial evidence from Kochi in the Mangalore blast case. Efforts are on to recover the CCTV footage of the lodge where Shariq stayed in Aluva.
The Karnataka Police reached Kerala following the information that the Mangalore blast conspiracy took place in Kerala and Tamil Nadu. The Karnataka Police is conducting the investigation by camping here. While the investigation is proceeding with the cooperation of the NIA excluding the local police, many crucial evidence has been obtained from Kochi.
The prime accused Muhammad Shariq stayed at the lodge in Aluva from September 13 to 18. The Karnataka Police got the information of the people he was in contact with here. The investigation is progressing towards the participants in the blast conspiracy. However, the CCTV footage of the month of September has not been received from the lodge. The investigation team is trying to recover it.
