New Delhi: It is reported that there was huge damage in the fire that broke out in the national capital yesterday evening. The fire broke out at Bhagirath Palace Market in Delhi’s Chandini Chowk.
It is reported that around 50 business establishments were burnt down. About 150 fire force units rushed to the spot. The fire broke out around 9.20 pm yesterday.
The entrances to the market were very narrow. Officials say that the rescue operation has been delayed. Thus the fire had spread to several shops and buildings in the area. It is reported that most of the shops in the market have been burnt down. No casualties were reported in the accident.
