Governor seeks a report from Ishitha Roy, the Agricultural Production Commissioner who is currently in the position of the university vice chancellor.
The clash between the CPM and the CPI organisations is also a major factor in the strike that has been going on for the past 48 days. It is said that the disrespectful attitude of the former vice chancellor towards C V Senny, the general secretary of the association finally led to the strike.
