New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that it is a great honor for the country to chair the G20 summit. He said that this offers many great opportunities for the country and the summit will bring awareness in all fields. This was mentioned in the Prime Minister’s monthly radio program Mann Ki Baat.
He stated that G20 is a great opportunity. Modi mentioned that he would try to bring about the possible changes at the global level based on the concept of ‘one land, one family, one future’. The country can make huge contributions to equality, global peace and sustainable development.
India will have to chair about 200 meetings in the coming year. The Prime Minister said that every program related to this will be organized in different parts of the country in the coming months. The Prime Minister also pointed out that this will also give an opportunity to people from different parts of the world to visit the states. He also pointed out that the country is expecting huge changes at the global level.
Prime Minister’s Man Ki Baat also mentioned India’s unique achievements in space. He also said that the launch of Vikram S, the first rocket developed in the private sector, has created a new history. Modi said that the country is also keen on strengthening its relations with neighboring countries. Oceansat, jointly launched by India and Bhutan, has also been successful and is promising new prospects in the field of ocean surveillance. He expressed confidence that the youth of the country is the strength of India and that the young generation can achieve new achievements.
