Thiruvananthapuram: As downpour is predicted, Yellow alert has been issued in some of the districts of Kerala. Alert is for Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Kottayam, Ernakulam and Idukki. Wether department has predicted isolated heavy rain between 64. 5 mm to 115. 5 mm.
IMD has also predicted heavy rain with lightening in some of the regions. However, fishermen have no restriction to venture into the sea at Kerala-Karnataka-Lakshadweep coasts.
Cyclonic circulation is prevailing in the Bay of Bengal and hence, it is likely to have isolated and moderate rain in Kerala for the next five days.
