New Delhi: With the municipal corporation elections in Delhi, the flow from Aam Aadmi Party to BJP is increasing. Three former Aam Aadmi MLAs joined BJP. Commando Surendra Singh from Delhi Cantonment, Raju Dhinkan from Trilokpuri and Chaudhary Fateh Singh from Gokulpur have accepted party membership. The function was held at the BJP headquarters.
Delhi BJP President Adesh Gupta welcomed the leaders to the party. He said that the leaders joined the BJP as they were fed up with Aam Aadmi’s double standards. Former Union Minister Vijay Goyal and party spokesperson Sambit Patra attended the event.
Sambit Patra said Aam Aadmi is involved in corruption and does not even get the support of its own leaders. That is why prominent leaders of the Aam Aadmi Party are leaving the party.
Surendra Singh is a leader who resigned from Aam Aadmi Party in 2020. He alleged that the Aam Aadmi Party had sold all the seats for Municipal Corporation elections. Chaudhary Fateh Singh left the party in 2015. Former Aam Aadmi Party MLA Raju Dhinkan said that the common leaders have no value in the party.
