Prime Minister in his native land: Narendra Modi sought his mother’s blessings

Ahmedabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited his hometown ahead of the Gujarat elections. Modi reached his home in Gandhinagar to meet mother Heeraben, greeted her by touching her feet and sought her blessings.

The Prime Minister came to meet Amma when the second phase of the Gujarat assembly elections, the last phase of polling, was scheduled to take place on Monday. Pictures of Narendra Modi with mother have also come out.

Elections to 89 of Gujarat’s 182 assembly seats were held on December 1. Voting for the remaining 93 seats, including 16 in Ahmedabad, will be held tomorrow.
