Junagadh: Wife and her lover killed husband and his friend by giving cyanide in juice. The incident happened in Junagadh, Gujarat. The victim Rafeeq’s wife Mehmooda, her lover Asif Chauhan was arrested. They planned the murder believing that the husband will make an issue in their love affair.
The accused mixed cyanide in juice and kept it inside the auto of Rafeeq. Rafeeq and his friend Bharath drank the juice and succumbed to death.
At first the accused they made the police believe that the death was due to adulterated alcohol. But the police who found the presence of cyanide in the soft drink and conducted a further investigation. Later, it is found the case as a murder and arrested Mehmooda and Asif.
