New Delhi: The all-party meeting called by the Central Government will be held this evening at Rashtrapathy Bhavan. The all-party meeting is convened to discuss the preparations that has been planned by the Government for the G 20 summit which will be held in India. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi and Chief Ministers of various States will participate in the meeting.
Forty parties have been invited to join the all-party meet. Several programmes will be organised in 200 cities across the country. In today’s meeting, discussions will be conducted on those programmes too. All- party meeting aims to solicit suggestions, discuss and to form strategies.
G-20 summit will be held in India on 9 and 10 in 2023. India assumed the G-20 presidency on 1 December. Several world leaders had poured appreciations and wishes to PM Narendra Modi on assuming G-20 presidency.
