Thiruvananthapuram: Finance Minister K N Balagopal has said that the state is facing an unprecedented financial crisis. However, the reason for the minister is that the economic crisis is caused by things outside the state limits. Balagopal clarified about the financial crisis in the state while speaking in the assembly.
“It is a fact that the state is experiencing a financial crisis that has never been experienced anywhere before. But the economic crisis is caused by issues outside the control of the state.
Natural calamities, corona epidemic, crippled policies of the central government, implementation of goods and services tax and cutting the borrowing limit of the state have created a financial crisis in the state. K N Balagopal said that the government is preparing a clear roadmap to find a solution to this problem.
