Delhi: Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge has said that the victory of Congress party in Himachal elections has attained due the blessings of Soniya Gandhi. He expressed his gratitude towards Soniya, Rahul and Priyanka and mentioned that their actions had turned into votes in the election. He has expressed his responses soon after knowing the election results, published today.
Meanwhile, he was not ready to react to the tragic failure in Gujarat. He said that success and failure are two parts of democracy. This is a war of ideologies. We will correct our faults and go on, said Mallikarjun Kharge.
In Himachal, Congress has won in 39 seats and BJP won in 26 seats. But in Gujarat, the Congress has shrunken to 17 seats from 77.
