New Delhi: Congress Vice President Ali Mehdi says that he is Rahul Gandhi’s employee., Ali Mehdi apologized after joining the Aam Aadmi and returning to the Congress within hours. In a video posted on Twitter, Ali Mehdi said that he made a mistake and would never do it again.
Ali released a video with both hands folded and said “I made a big mistake. My father worked for the Congress for 40 years,” Ali said. Ali has requested other activists to upload a similar video. Newly elected councillors Sabila Begum from Mustafabad, who joined the Aam Aadmi Party with Ali Mehdi, and Nazia Khatoon from Brijpuri have returned to the Congress party.
“Councillor Nazia Khatoon from Brijpuri, Councilor Zabila Begum from Mustafabad and Block President Aleem Ansari who lost by 300 votes are the workers of Rahul and Priyanka. Rahul Gandhi Zindabad,’ said Ali in another tweet.
Ali Mehdi joined the Aam Aadmi Party last day. Later, he returned to the Congress after facing hours of criticism against his action.
